Andy drives RBC’s organization-wide brand strategy and marketing communication efforts, using advertising, sponsorship and citizenship marketing initiatives to both defend and extend the bank’s positioning and leadership role. He also leads RBC’s sponsorship and cause marketing initiatives, including partnership properties such as, RBC Canadian Open, RBC Heritage, Canadian Olympic Team, Hockey Canada, Toronto International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, RBC Learn to Play and the RBC Blue Water Project. With over 17 years of marketing and sponsorship experience within the financial services, packaged goods and retail industries, Andy has developed a distinct creative approach to strategic marketing problems. These effective storytelling efforts have driven both business results and award-winning differentiation for the RBC brand. Andy holds an MBA from McGill University, and resides in Toronto with those he loves most: his wife and two young children. He credits most of his big ideas to late-night walks with his faithful canine companion, Alex.
