Dee Diaz, Vice President of Development & Marketing, War Child Canada

DeeDiaz_circleAs Vice President of Development + Marketing, Dee Diaz is responsible for leading the organization’s donor engagement through a variety of inspired and informed opportunities of giving to War Child’s mission. Dee brings over 15 years of fundraising and marketing experience with a particular focus on corporate development, cause-related marketing, creative business re-engineering, and fostering a culture built on passion, strategic innovation and donor delight. Prior to joining War Child, Dee led the Development and Innovation team at UNICEF Canada and spent 12 years at SickKids in a variety of roles at the Centre for Health Information & Promotion, Safe Kids Canada and at the Foundation- as the Director of the Children’s Miracle Network Program. Before taking the leap to the not for profit sector, Dee spent several years with TD’s e-banking marketing division. Combining both her non-profit and private sector experiences, Dee enjoys the creative challenge of business marketing to further social impact- especially for children.
