The Growth of Cause Marketing Read IEG’s predictions for 2014.  In 2013, corporate cause sponsorship grew 4.8% to reach $1.78 billion — the overall sponsorship category was only up 4.5% in North America, beneath IEG’s 5% prediction.

Sports, which accounts for nearly 70% of sponsorship spending, was up 5.1%. Cause Marketing’s share of the overall sponsorship market remained at 9%.
